What is PRIMEtix?

  • PRIMEtix is an online ticket agent. PRIMEtix only sells original tickets directly from the presenter.  Each presenter is responsible for their pricing and fees.

Why should I use PRIMEtix?

  • PRIMEtix was developed by, and is managed by an Artist Collective in Calgary, AB.  Limited overhead keeps ticket fees at the lowest in the industry, and gives presenters unprecedented contact with the ticket seller.  Profits from the PRIMEtix are used to cover the expenses of maintaining and running a large e-commerce site, and the profits are re-invested in Southern Alberta’s Arts Community.
  • As an agentPRIMEtix holds all funds in trust until events are completed. Patrons are assured that refunds are guaranteed in the case of an event cancellation.

What is your refund policy?

PRIMEtix is a ticket vendor contracted by performing groups to sell event tickets. PRIMEtix is not the promoter, artist, or venue.  Each event may have differing refund policies – for specific details, please check with the promotor prior to purchase.

Refunds and Exchanges

Refunds – our standard policy is that all event tickets are final sale (non-refundable) except in case of event cancellation. In case of cancellation, see below “cancelled and rescheduled events”.  With larger presenters with multiple events in a season, exchanges may be possible.

Upgrades/Exchanges – all tickets are refundable for the full purchase price when you upgrade to an available higher ticket category for the same event.  Please contact us for exchanges.  Upgrades subject to availability.

Cancelled and Rescheduled Events

In either case, we’ll alert you ASAP via email.

Cancelled Events – You’ll get an automatic refund for tickets bought online or by phone using your purchase payment method. If you bought your tickets at a retail location, please return them at the same location for a refund.  It may take several days for your refund to appear in your online statement.

Rescheduled Events – We’ll contact you with the new date and time. Can’t make the new date? Refunds are up to the artist, team, venue or promoter but we will do everything we can to help. Please contact us for more information or to request a refund if you cannot attend the rescheduled event.

Replacement Tickets

If your tickets are lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed, please contact us. Our support team is happy to help.

For damaged or destroyed Print-at-Home tickets, just print again from the link in your confirmation email or your PRIMEtix account page.
